JUST THE RIGHT SMOOTHIES

We love our smoothies anytime of the year but the cold and flu season is a strong enough reason to reach for our blenders. Here are our 3 favorite smoothies, tasted and tested by Delhi cooking classes chefs. They are versatile, you can replace/reduce your sweetener, substitute your regular milk with almond or cashew milk, add more berries and greens, use additional seeds...YOU are the boss of that blender!

BERRY YUMMY SMOOTHIE

 

1 c blueberries

1 c cranberries

1 c raspberries 

1/4 c honey

1 tsp ground flaxseed

1 tbsp hemp seeds

1 c plain yogurt

 

Nice and easy: put all ingredients in a blender.  Blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy every sip!

 

BANANA CINNAMON SMOOTHIE

 

3  bananas

1½ c milk

3 tbsp honey

1 tbsp chia seeds

2 tsp ground cinnamon

5-7 ice cubes

 

Add all ingredients to blender, process until the mix is creamy. Get your straw ready for something delicious!

 

SPINACH MANGO SMOOTHIE

 

2 c frozen mango

1 c baby spinach

2 tbsp honey

1 c almond or oatmeal milk

 

 

Following the same drill - all goes into a blender! You can definitely add more honey with this one.
