My day does not start before a cup of strong masala chai and mornings are not happy if i don't wake up by a cup of it by my side.
Today i am sharing with you my recipe of perfect masala chai. Hope you will like it.
servings: 2 cups
Tea - 2 to 3 Tbsps
sugar - 3 tbsp or less
water - 1.5 cups
milk - 1 cup
cinnamon - 1/4 inch
ginger grated - 1tbsp
cardamom green - 2
cloves - 2
Take a saucepan. Add water and all the masala ingredients and bring them to boil.
Once water starts to boil, add tea, sugar and milk.
Boil it at high flame.
Now turn the flame to simmer.
let it boil on simmer for 3-4 minutes or until it appears dark in color.
Filter the leaves and enjoy it with your favorite cookies or biscuits.
