Cure your skin problems with simple kitchen remedies!

When we talk about remedies, we think about those expensive and pocket burning products regularly displayed on our television screens but have you ever thought that the remedy for that ugly pimple is present right there in the confines of your kitchen? Therefore, I would like to share some simple Ayurvedic and home remedies which are easily available in your kitchen for every day skin problems we face.

  • Acne:

Have you tried everything and failed? Then try this one. Make a thick paste of waster and baking soda and apply. Keep it on for not more than 20 minutes and wash it off with cool water. This will solve all your acne problems because of the cleansing properties of baking soda. But in some cases, acne is at the most advanced level and in that case, you need to consult a dermatologist who can prescribe you the appropriate medication.

Acne leaves scars and oatmeal can help you to reduce those scars. Blend water and oatmeal nicely and leave it on your face for 20 minutes and wash off. You can use rose water for better effect. You can also try this age old recipe of sandalwood and milk/cream paste. It has never failed the Indian men and women.

  • White Heads:

Eggs taste great as scrambled eggs but it works wonders for skin and hair especially for the white head problems. Beat egg white and few drops of honey nicely in a bowl and leave it on the affected part of your face for about 30 minutes and see the magic!

Clean your face thoroughly and rub the garlic or garlic juice on the affected part of your ace and see the white heads disappearing after you wash it off after 20 minutes.

  • Stretch Marks:

Stretch marks can happen when you gain or lose weight or after the child birth and they make you look older and you might feel shame in wearing sleeveless blouses or crop tops. So why don’t you try out the simple castor oil? Apply the castor oil on the stretch marks, rub in circular motion for at least 15 minutes and cover it with a think cotton cloth to give it a bit of heat or you can try out this pack made of lemon juice, raw sugar and almond oil. Mix all the three ingredients and rub on the affected area for at least 10 minutes and see the magic for yourself!
